Accurately measuring your body is the first step to determining your bust, waist, and hip measurements correctly. To get reliable results, the measuring tape must be positioned correctly, and your body should be in a natural, relaxed position.
You will need a soft measuring tape and a mirror. Stand upright with relaxed shoulders and a natural posture. Do not suck in your stomach, push out your chest, or change your posture to get a smaller or larger measurement.
Ex Fashion presents 4 steps to help you measure your curves and make choosing clothes easier.

How do you measure your bust correctly?
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, with the measuring tape encircling your body and running horizontally across your back and the front of your chest.
Stand upright and relaxed, without changing your natural posture. Place the measuring tape around your body so that it passes over the fullest part of your bust at the front and across the middle of your back at the same height. The tape should form a straight horizontal line around your body, without riding up or dipping down at the back. It should fit snugly against your body without squeezing or distorting it.

How do you measure your waist correctly?
Measure around your natural waistline—the narrowest part of your torso, usually between your ribs and hips.
Stand upright and relaxed, with your body in a natural position. Place the measuring tape around your waist and adjust it so it encircles your body at an even height and is parallel to the floor. Make sure the tape is not twisted or slanted across your body, and keep it straight.
The tape should fit against your body without being tight. Do not suck in your stomach or hold your breath while measuring. Take the measurement while standing naturally and relaxed.

How do you measure your hips correctly?
Stand upright with your feet close together. Wrap the measuring tape around your body, positioning it so that it passes over the widest part of your hips at the front and the fullest part of your buttocks at the back.
Make sure the tape forms a straight horizontal line around your body, without riding up or dipping down. It should fit against your body without tightening or squeezing it.
Take the measurement where the ends of the tape meet, while keeping your body in a natural, relaxed position.

How can you take more accurate measurements?
For accurate, reliable measurements, measure over thin, close-fitting clothing or directly over your underwear. Thick or loose clothing can add extra bulk and increase the measurement.
While measuring, stand upright and relaxed. Do not suck in your stomach, push out your chest, or change your natural posture. The measuring tape should fit against your body without squeezing it or leaving marks on your skin.
After each measurement, check that the tape is positioned correctly—in the right place, untwisted, and horizontal. It is best to take each measurement twice. If you get different results, take a third measurement and use the value that occurs more than once.
