Unlike standard collections, where a design may be produced repeatedly, limited editions focus on restricted production runs and distinctive design.
What sets a truly limited garment apart?
The label LIMITED alone is not enough to guarantee exclusivity.
What matters is whether the manufacturer actually sets and adheres to a specific production run, and whether it provides information about the garment’s origin and identity.

At EX Corde, we create select original designs in strictly limited editions for customers around the world.
Up to 100 pieces of a particular design worldwide
The EX LIMITED concept calls for certain designs to be produced in editions of no more than 100 pieces worldwide. The number varies for each special limited line, but is always fixed and restricted.
This means that when a design is limited to 100 pieces, that number refers to the total worldwide edition, not to an individual country or market.
One of the most distinctive features of EX LIMITED is the individual identification of each garment.
Individual serial number and signature
Each garment in these limited editions comes with an individual serial number and signature, which form part of its identity.
The serial number distinguishes a particular piece from the other garments in the same edition.
This turns the limited quantity from a general promise into a specific, traceable feature of the design.
Special certificate of authenticity
Each garment comes with a special certificate of authenticity (Certificate of Authenticity), verifying that it belongs to the limited edition.
The certificate includes information about the design, individual serial number, piece number and total edition size.
For example, if a design is produced in an edition of 100, the designation No. 017/100 indicates that you own piece No. 17 of 100.
This detail gives the garment its own story and individual identity.
